New Terrain Counseling's (NTC) therapeutic services offers hope, understanding, and growth for adolescents and young adults struggling with identity, depression, anxiety, achievement, motivation, anger, and career planning.

NTC strives to support the mental health needs of adolescents and young adults in Jefferson County through empathetic counseling, efficacious education, and meaningful training.

Who NTC Serves

NTC serves adolescents and their families. Adolescents can be defined as a range from:

 pre-teens (10-12), teens (13-18), and young adults (19-23).

History

New Terrain Counseling (NTC) is an adolescent and young adult counseling private practice based out of Lakewood, Colorado. NTC exists to support teens and young adults by connecting with clients and their families to teach adaptive coping skills and help teens grow into their full potential.  NTC opened in August 2018 by therapist and school counselor Michael Heckendorn.
